Guess Who will be performing at GreenStock™ Expo & Concert   Sunday September 19, 2010

May 17, 2010 (Phoenix, AZ) Premier Media Services, Inc. (PMSI) announced that they have confirmed The Guess Who for their GreenStock™ Expo & Concert Series at WestWorld of Scottsdale, in Scottsdale, Arizona for Sunday September 19, 2010.  The stage and expo booths will be powered by alternative energy. Our Concert lineup begins with a variety of artists interested in eco friendly lifestyles on Friday September 17, 2010 with Headliner to be announced, the Gin Blossoms on Saturday, September 18 and The Guess Who on Sunday, September 19.

Kelly Black, President of PMSI stated “We are very excited about confirming The Guess Who to our GreenStock™ Concert lineup. The legendary Canadian classic rock band is one more positive addition to our concert lineup, bringing their socially responsible green movement fan base to our event.” She went on to state “I hope all of our GreenStocksRock.com viewers will come to our GreenStock™ Expo and Concert series.  The Guess Who, Gin Blossoms, and other major music bands are participating in the first ever event, where the stage is powered by solar, courtesy of our partner Green Tow.” Ms. Black states, “The Green Revolution is thriving and growing stronger every day.  Businesses, governments, and private citizens around the globe are demanding a cleaner, brighter future with environmentally-friendly, cost-effective technologies and green energy sources.  Our concert will highlight the emerging Green Market Place and bring the movement to main street consumers.”

The Guess Who, the band that became Canada’s first international rock music superstars, began in 1962 in Winnipeg as Chad Allen & The Reflections.  Chad Allen and the Reflections had become Chad Allen and the Expressions by the time they recorded a cover of “Shakin’ All Over”, released by Quality Records in 1965. Quality Records released the group’s first single and album, Shakin’ All Over, in a plain white record jacket with only the question “Guess Who?” written on it. The marketing ploy capitalized on curiosity and the promise of another British Invasion band. It worked.
